TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER
(ENTRY LEVEL)

Responsibilities
Individual will be expose working with,
not only the traffic safety group, but also the
roadway and TSM&O groups.
With our traffic/safety group, individual
will be involved with all aspects of producing
and engineering study, including data collection,
field work, engineering analysis, LOS analysis,
crash analysis, development of existing &
proposed site conditions and report write-up.
With our roadway group, individual will
be involved with the development of existing
and proposed site conditions entailing
highway engineering including preliminary
roadway/signal design, utility impact
identification, consideration for maintenance
and protection of traffic schemes.
With our TSM&O group, individual will be involved
by coordinating traffic signal engineering analysis.
The candidate will be involved in the coordination,
communication and collaboration with
multi-disciplinary teams, governmental agencies
and other firms to successfully complete each project.
Minimum Qualifications
1
• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
(with emphasis in transportation) required.
2
• Candidate is expected to have E.I.
registration with the state of Florida.
3
• 0-3 years experience;
previous internship desired.
Preferred Qualifications
and Skills
· Solid oral and written
communication skills.

· Experience using CADD
(Microstation or AutoCAD) is preferred.

· Desire to work in a team environment.
4
· Able to follow directions.
