We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager - Highway Roadway Engineer
with 5+ years of experience in roadway design, transportation engineering, and
project management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with
Bentley Systems (OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation), AutoCAD Civil 3D, and
other design software. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and
the ability to manage multiple roadway projects from concept through
completion.This role will also involve marketing and business development
responsibilities, including client relationship management, proposal development,
and participation in industry networking events to help expand our presence and
secure new opportunities.
Marketing & Business Development:
• Growth Strategy
Support the firm’s growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities
and fostering relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Assist
Assist in the preparation of proposals, qualifications packages,
and presentations for project pursuits.
• Represent the company
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking
functions to increase brand visibility and develop partnerships.
• Collaborate
Collaborate with the marketing and business development team to develop
strategies for expanding the firm's transportation engineering services.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and present project reports, technical studies, and proposals
to clients and regulatory agencies.

Develop and oversee the preparation of engineering plans, specifications,
cost estimates, and reports for roadway infrastructure projects.

Utilize Bentley software (OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation) and AutoCAD
Civil 3D for the design and modeling of highways, intersections, and corridors.

Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure
compliance with local, state, and federal transportation standards.

Supervise and mentor junior engineers and design staff, providing technical
guidance and quality control.

Conduct site visits, feasibility studies, and engineering analyses for roadway
alignment, drainage, traffic flow, and safety improvements.

Ensure adherence to AASHTO, DOT, MUTCD, and other relevant design
standards and regulations.

Prepare and present project reports, technical studies, and proposals
to clients and regulatory agencies

Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure
successful project execution.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
· Professional Engineer (PE)
Professional Engineer (PE) license required (or ability to obtain
within a reasonable timeframe).
· Experience:
5+ years of experience in highway and roadway engineering, with a strong
background in project management.
· Software proficiency:
Proficiency in Bentley Systems (OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation)
and AutoCAD Civil 3D for roadway design and drafting.
· Strong knowledge:
Experience with highway geometric design, pavement design,
grading, drainage, and utility coordination.
· Experience with:

· Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with
the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Experience coordinating:
Experience coordinating with state DOTs, municipalities,
and transportation agencies.

· Working abilities:
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
in a team environment.
· Experience in:
Experience in business development, proposal writing,
and marketing activities is a plus.
